Audit Senior
Our client, a long-established and highly respected accountancy practice based in Athlone, is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Audit Senior with at least two years’ Irish practice experience who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. The successful Audit Senior will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries while gaining exposure to a wide range of audit assignments. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit assignments for a varied portfolio of SME and corporate clients, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
- Build strong client relationships by acting as the main point of contact throughout the audit process and responding to client queries.
- Review financial information, identify risks, and recommend improvements to internal controls and financial processes.
- Support, mentor, and review the work of junior team members while ensuring compliance with relevant auditing and accounting standards as an Audit Senior.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA-qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Irish practice-based audit role.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience managing multiple assignments to tight deadlines. Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare is advantageous but not essential.
