A strong Tax Manager opportunity has arisen with a well-established accountancy practice in Co. Meath. This client operates across multiple locations in Ireland. This Tax Manager role offers the chance to work closely with the Tax Partner as part of a collaborative and growing tax team, supporting a diverse portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients. The successful Tax Manager will gain exposure to a broad range of tax advisory and compliance work while benefiting from excellent career development opportunities across all areas of taxation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage tax compliance and advisory services across a diverse portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.
- Lead, mentor and support the tax team, overseeing workflow, technical queries and staff development.
- Work closely with the Tax Partner on client engagements, tax planning projects and client meetings.
- Manage departmental WIP and billing while building strong client relationships and supporting business development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Tax Advisor qualification.
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with SME and owner-managed business clients.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
