Our client, a long-established and highly respected accountancy practice based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with a minimum of two years’ Irish practice experience who is looking to progress their audit career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Working with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries, the successful Audit Senior will gain exposure to a wide range of high-quality audit assignments while benefiting from ongoing training, professional development, and strong career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- The Audit Senior will lead and manage audit assignments for a varied portfolio of SME and corporate clients.
- Liaise directly with clients to address queries, provide support, and ensure audits are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Review financial information, identify potential risks, and highlight opportunities to improve client systems and internal controls.
- Support and guide junior team members throughout the audit process.
- Ensure audit files are completed accurately and in line with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA-qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Irish practice-based audit role.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments effectively.
- Experience using audit software (e.g., CaseWare) is desirable but not essential.
