Our client, a well-respected accountancy practice based in Dublin, is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their growing team. The Payroll Manager will play a key role in delivering outsourced payroll services to clients across a wide range of industry sectors, each with their own diverse payroll requirements. This is a fully on‑site role, you’ll manage end-to-end payroll operations, provide technical payroll expertise within the tax function, and ensure the highest standards of compliance, accuracy, and client service.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Act as subject matter expert on payroll tax matters within the Employment Tax Team.
- Liaise with clients to gather payroll data, resolve queries, and maintain a professional, efficient service.
- Handle starters, leavers, statutory deductions, pensions, BIK calculations, and tax documentation.
- Prepare PAYE, PRSI, EFT files, maintain accurate records, and review payroll reports prior to client distribution.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in a fast‑paced Irish payroll environment.
- IPASS or similar payroll certification preferred.
- Strong MS Excel skills and experience with payroll software such as Quantum, EuropayX and Sage Micropay.
- Have familiarity with ROS and EFT processes.
- High accuracy, strong problem‑solving ability, and excellent organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
