A well-established and progressive accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Management Accounts Manager to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant or accounting technician who enjoys working closely with clients, leveraging technology to improve accounting processes, and driving efficiencies through cloud-based and AI-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering management accounts, payroll services, year-end accounts, and related accounting support.
  • Advise clients on financial processes, internal controls, and the adoption of technology to improve efficiency and support business growth.
  • Implement and support cloud-based and AI-driven accounting systems, recommending suitable software and integrated applications.
  • Lead accounting technology projects, including the rollout of new systems and process improvements across client engagements.
  • Maintain company secretarial compliance, client relationships, and general practice administration, including billing and timesheet management.

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician.
  • Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in management accounting or practice.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and cloud-based accounting platforms.
  • Experience implementing or supporting technology-driven accounting solutions.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and client relationship management skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail and discretion.
