Our client in Co. Meath is seeking an Audit Administrator to join their growing practice. Join a well-established Irish accountancy practice that has been providing quality chartered accountancy services for over 30 years. As Audit Administrator, you will gain experience working with a range of clients in a variety of sectors. Note: This role is part-time (3 days per week).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organise, and maintain audit files and working papers, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with firm procedures.
- Support audit engagements through basic testing, working paper completion, client information follow-up, and audit report preparation.
- Assist with AML and compliance processes, including client verification checks, compliance tracking, and regulatory file readiness.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the audit team, including engagement coordination, quality control reviews, billing administration, and process improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in an accounting practice environment
- Working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
- Full Irish driving licence
- Willingness to learn new systems and software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proactive, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Professional and confident in client interactions
- Collaborative team player
Salary & Benefits:
- €35,000 – €40,000 DOE
