Our client, a respected mid‑tier accounting firm based in Trim, delivers high‑quality audit, advisory, and accounting services to a diverse client base. In this role, you will manage a varied portfolio while providing accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and advisory support.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a diverse portfolio, preparing management accounts, financial statements, and tax filings in line with statutory requirements and firm standards.
  • Provide high‑quality accounting, compliance, and advisory services, building strong client relationships and offering clear, commercially focused insights.
  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and companies, ensuring full compliance and delivering practical, solution‑driven advice.
  • Guide and support junior team members through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing, contributing to efficient internal processes and consistent service delivery.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), ideally with experience at Senior Accountant level.
  • Minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience within a professional practice environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Irish GAAP and solid familiarity with FRS 102.
  • Strong understanding of Irish tax compliance for both individuals and companies.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Highly organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable working independently to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Surf Accounts, Sage) and Microsoft Office.
