Our client, a leading professional services firm based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join its growing audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated audit professional who has already gained solid experience within an Irish accounting practice and is now looking to progress their career in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work with a broad range of clients across multiple industries while contributing to the delivery of high‑quality audit and advisory services.

As an Audit Senior, you will take ownership of audit assignments from initial planning through to completion. You will supervise junior team members, review technical work, and play an active role in managing client relationships. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, values high standards, and is eager to advance within a reputable and expanding audit division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to finalisation, ensuring full compliance with auditing standards and internal deadlines.
  • Prepare and review audit files, financial statements, and all related reporting deliverables.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff, contributing to their technical development and on‑the‑job learning.
  • Identify audit issues, communicate findings clearly to management, and participate in client discussions.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and assist in managing workflow across multiple assignments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ audit experience within an Irish accounting practice.
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge of Irish auditing and accounting standards.
  • Proven experience supervising junior staff and managing client expectations.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and report‑writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
