Our client is seeking an experienced VAT Consulting Manager to join their growing Tax team in Athlone. As one of Ireland’s leading independent accounting and advisory firms, they offer the opportunity to work with a diverse client base while developing and expanding our VAT service offering. This is a key leadership role for someone who wants to shape the future of VAT advisory within a dynamic practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the firm’s VAT service offering, working closely with the VAT Associate Partner and Tax Partners.
- Manage VAT advisory projects, audits, and client queries across a wide range of industries.
- Provide technical insights on VAT legislation changes and communicate impacts to clients.
- Support and mentor junior team members through project involvement and skills development.
Requirements
- CTA qualification required.
- 4–5+ years’ experience in a professional VAT or tax environment (practice or industry).
- Strong technical knowledge of VAT legislation and experience advising on diverse VAT matters.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client‑facing skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
