Our client, a leading accountancy practice in Cork, are known for delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services to a varied client base. As the practice continues to expand, they’re now looking for a motivated Senior Accountant to join their Audit and Compliance team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload and wants to build their career within a respected practice.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and verifying financial data for client accounts including audit exempt accounts
- Supporting year-end processes, outsourcing tasks, and compliance documentation
- Developing and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
- Assisting in training and supporting junior accountants as a Senior Accountant.
Requirements
- ACCA/ ACA qualified
- Minimum 2 year post-qualification Irish practice experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in an accounting practice desired.
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
Salary & Benefits
- €55,000 – €65,000 DOE
- Up to 10% annual bonus
- Pension contribution (minimum 5%)
