Our client, a reputable and established accountancy practice in Dublin, has an immediate opening for an Audit Senior to join their team. This opening is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with at least 2 years’ experience in Irish practice who’s looking to take the next step in their audit career. As an Audit Senior, you’ll play a key role in managing audit assignments and supporting the continued success of the firm. Working with a broad client base across a range of sectors, you’ll gain hands-on experience, professional development, and the chance to make a real impact.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and delivering audits for a varied portfolio of SME and corporate clients.
- Planning and completing audit engagements in line with professional standards.
- Guiding and reviewing the work of junior team members, helping them develop their skills.
- Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide practical, value-added advice.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA-qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a practice-based audit role.
- Strong technical understanding of audit and accounting standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Experience with CaseWare or similar audit software (advantageous but not essential).
