Our client is a well-established and growing Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant or Tax Professional with strong tax experience to join a supportive and forward-thinking firm that values its people and provides genuine opportunities for career progression.
This position is ideal for an experienced Tax Senior who enjoys managing a diverse portfolio of clients, mentoring junior staff, and gaining exposure to a broad range of sectors within a practice known for its professionalism and collaborative culture.
As a Tax Senior, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and reviewing tax compliance work for a varied portfolio of personal and corporate clients.
- Preparing and filing income tax, corporation tax, VAT, and other relevant returns.
- Assisting with tax planning projects and providing advisory support to clients.
- Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members.
- Liaising with Revenue on client matters and ensuring compliance with all tax legislation.
- Supporting the management team on tax consultancy assignments and ad-hoc projects.
- Building strong client relationships and delivering practical, value-added tax advice.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant or Chartered Tax Advisor (ACA, ACCA, or CTA) with a minimum of 1 year’s post-qualification experience.
- Previous experience in a practice environment is essential, particularly in tax compliance and advisory.
- Strong technical knowledge across Irish taxation and relevant legislation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships effectively.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary of €60,000 – €68,000, depending on experience.
