Our client is a well-established chartered accountancy practice based in Co. Meath. With over 30 years’ experience, they offer high-quality accountancy and advisory services across a wide range of industries. This is a newly created Tax Senior role offering the right candidate the chance to work closely with the Tax Partner and help shape the future of the firm’s tax offering.
Responsibilities:
- The successful TaxSenior will work closely with the Tax Partner to provide both compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Take the lead on a wide variety of tax advisory projects while maintaining involvement in compliance work.
- Manage and oversee the delivery of tax services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Provide technical support to junior staff and assist in their development, with an aim to gradually manage and build out the tax team.
- As TaxSenior you will act as a key point of contact for clients, offering proactive advice on tax issues and planning opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Tax professional (AITI / Chartered Tax Advisor) with a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA).
- Minimum 4–5 years’ post-qualification experience in practice, within a medium-sized accountancy firm in Ireland.
- Strong background in both tax compliance and advisory services, with the ability to balance both aspects effectively.
- The successful Tax Senior will have a proven ability to manage client relationships and provide commercially sound advice.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: €65,000 – €75,000 (DOE)
