A leading Irish accountancy and advisory firm is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Audit Senior to join its expanding Dublin team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified audit professional to join a dynamic practice environment with a strong focus on professional development and client service.

The role involves working with a broad portfolio of clients across various industries, delivering high-quality audit and assurance services, and supporting the growth of the audit team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and complete audit files and financial statements from planning to finalisation, ensuring high standards and compliance with statutory deadlines
  • Draft financial and audit reports as required by client engagements
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, offering technical training and on-the-job guidance
  • Identify and report on areas of non-compliance with accounting or audit standards
  • Prepare and review audit planning documentation and reporting deliverables
  • Present findings and updates to engagement managers and contribute to client meetings
  • Maintain strong client relationships and support client queries professionally
  • Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be required depending on client assignments

Requirements:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with at least 1–2 years’ post-qualification experience in audit
  • Proven experience in auditing Irish companies within a practice setting
  • Strong technical knowledge of Irish auditing and accounting standards
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage audit assignments and supervise junior team members
  • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and producing high-quality reports
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving ability and commercial insight
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and managing competing priorities
