A leading Irish accountancy and advisory firm is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Audit Senior to join its expanding Dublin team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified audit professional to join a dynamic practice environment with a strong focus on professional development and client service.
The role involves working with a broad portfolio of clients across various industries, delivering high-quality audit and assurance services, and supporting the growth of the audit team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and complete audit files and financial statements from planning to finalisation, ensuring high standards and compliance with statutory deadlines
- Draft financial and audit reports as required by client engagements
- Lead and mentor junior team members, offering technical training and on-the-job guidance
- Identify and report on areas of non-compliance with accounting or audit standards
- Prepare and review audit planning documentation and reporting deliverables
- Present findings and updates to engagement managers and contribute to client meetings
- Maintain strong client relationships and support client queries professionally
- Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be required depending on client assignments
Requirements:
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with at least 1–2 years’ post-qualification experience in audit
- Proven experience in auditing Irish companies within a practice setting
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish auditing and accounting standards
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage audit assignments and supervise junior team members
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and producing high-quality reports
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving ability and commercial insight
- Comfortable working to deadlines and managing competing priorities
