Senior Accountant ( Practice)

GPC Finance are delighted to partner with a well-established and growing boutique Chartered Accountancy firm in Kildare. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join a dynamic and supportive team in a firm that truly values its people.

Our client is seeking an ambitious Senior Accountant who will play a key role in managing a portfolio of clients while mentoring junior team members. Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.

• Assisting with the timely completion of annual statutory accounts and regulatory returns, including quarterly and annual audits.

• Managing ad-hoc business projects as directed by Finance Management.

• Monthly review of debtors and creditors.

• Cash flow management and supplier payments.

• Review of overheads to ensure efficient cost management.

• Handling other daily accounting requests from the General Manager.

Requirements:

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with 3+ years PQE. Newly Qualified / Part Qualified Accountants will also be considered.

• Experience working in a Practice firm is essential.

• Strong technical knowledge and an ability to work on a variety of client accounts.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a busy and fast-paced finance environment.

• A proactive and problem-solving approach to work.
