Our client is seeking to receuit a Company Secretary/Trainee Company Secretary. This is a permanent, full-time position offering the opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to a range of company secretarial and administrative duties while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and filing Annual Returns and ensuring clients meet their statutory obligations.
  • Filing ad hoc statutory forms at the Companies Registration Office (e.g., changes to officers, addresses, etc.).
  • Incorporating companies and preparing de-shelving documents, including updates on officer details and share capital changes.
  • Updating and maintaining the company secretarial database.
  • Maintaining Minute Books and Statutory Registers.
  • Managing day-to-day queries and requests from clients and internal staff.
  • Performing filing, archiving, and general administrative duties.
  • Liaising with the Companies Registration Office.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have completed or express a desire to complete the post-graduate Diploma in Management and Corporate Governance to obtain the Chartered Governance Institute Qualification.
  • Ideally have experience with Relate Company Secretary software (desirable but not essential).
  • Have experience in a professional services environment (preferred but not required).
  • Demonstrate excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Show the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
