Our client is a reputable firm specializing in corporate finance and recovery services, with a strong focus on guiding Irish mid-market, owner-managed businesses through growth and challenges. Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant to join the Advisory team.
Role:
The successful candidate will support Directors and Partners across the Insolvency, Advisory, and Tax departments, working on diverse projects such as:
- Raising finance
- Business valuations
- Corporate planning
- Financial and tax due diligence
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Insolvency
- Inward investment
This role offers an opportunity to grow within the firm, with exposure to high-profile transactions and significant client interactions.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years of general practice experience (newly or part-qualified candidates may also be considered).
- Have a solid understanding of accounts preparation and knowledge of VAT, PAYE, and Payroll processes, with prior experience completing related returns.
- Possess excellent communication skills and experience dealing directly with clients.
- Be proficient in various software systems, including RAP, Relate Company Secretary, Core, Sage, and Xero.
- Demonstrate eagerness and enthusiasm to develop in a role with significant opportunities for growth.
