GPC Finance are delighted to partner with a leading Accounting Firm in Cork City. Our client is looking for a Qualified Accountant to join their growing team. opportunity for career development in Practice or alternatively for a future Financial Controller position in Industry.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Financial Statements for Sole Trader and Audit Exempt Companies.
- Completing and filing of tax returns and ensuring that deadlines are adhered to.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and compiling reports of monthly financial results.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients through direct contact.
- Providing advice to clients on tax planning and efficiencies.
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects, as required, to support existing services and processes.
Requirements:
- Min 2-3 years PQE Practice Experience.
- Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in an Irish practice.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A good working knowledge of Accounting Standards is required.
- Exceptional numerical, logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills and the ability to make educated decisions.
- Self-starter with a mature and responsible attitude and an ability to use own initiative.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
