GPC Finance are recruiting a Senior Accountant on behalf of our client. Our client provides financial advice and taxation to their SME clients all over Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Financial Statements for submission to the Companies Registration Office.
- Preparation of sole trader/partnership accounts and filing them with the Revenue Commissioners.
- Handling a range of clients in the SME sector with turnovers ranging from 1m to 500m.
- Preparation of Cash Flow Projections and business plans as required by clients.
- Dealing with clients on various issues related to their day-to-day business operations.
- Liaising with the Tax Department to prepare Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns and ensuring timely filing.
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Familiarity with Relate Accounts Production/TaxPro/CT TaxPro/Caseware/Surf is advantageous.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in an Irish Practice firm.
- Min 7 years of PQE
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confidence in interacting with clients and stakeholders through various mediums, including video calls.
