Our client is looking to for an ambitious, high-achieving Assistant Audit Manager seeking a new challenge in a progressive and forward-thinking Audit Department. This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients across different industries.
- Proactively manage client expectations and serve as the point of contact.
- Coordinate and project manage staff resources allocation.
- Lead teams in planning, executing, and completing audits.
- Provide technical auditing and accounting assistance to team members and clients.
- Report directly to partner/director on engagements.
- Assist in managing the team’s financial performance.
- Participate in coaching, mentoring, and appraising staff.
- Manage and coordinate proposals for new work.
- Develop strong working relationships with team members and other departments.
- Share knowledge and provide on-the-job training to junior team members.
- Assist in preparing client presentations, including board reports and tender/proposal documents.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualification with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
- Strong technical auditing and accounting skills, including knowledge of ISAs, FRS100 to FRS102, and IFRS.
- Demonstrated management skills and behaviours.
- Market/commercial awareness.
- Understanding of operational aspects in managing an audit team and being accountable for results.
- Strong communication skills and client service ethos.
- Adaptability to change.
